this is for all viewers who visit the site. actually i wd like all public to also be aware of a few things that happened during our trip.

our family of 8 had gone to madikere and orange county last week. we drove from bangalore to mysore and then to masinagudi. from masinagudi we drove to madikere. the hunsur road to madikere is awful. almost a major portion of the road is being relaid and is quite un motorable thus doubling the time of our travel. our stay at a home stay estate in madikere was very good. we had a very good hostess and it was like a home away from home.

after a day's stay at madikere we left for ORANGE COUNTY. the place is awesome. they have so many activities within the resort that our 2 days stay was not enuf. the boys had so many activities like tt tournament, cricket match etc apart from the pool, rowing, badminton courts that we even had to forego a few. our gastronomic appetite was well taken care of by the 3 restaurants within the resort and the friendly staff there.

the short stay was marred by an unfortunate incident. BEWARE!

myself and my cousin had planned  to vist the ayurveda vaidyashala within the resort. we had decided to get facials and foot massage done and had also booked the time for the same. when we went at the appointed time, the staff at the desk had goofed up with my timings as well as what i had scheduled to get done. i was put off and cancelled my appointment. my cousin was half way thro her facials which is done is a semi-dark room. i told her what had happened and left. before we left my uncle gave us 2 crisp new 1000re notes for the treatment. when my cousin finished her treatement and got to the desk to pay for for it to her horror she found ONLY ONE 1000 RE NOTE.! when asked abt it the staff and the person at the desk feigned innocence. my uncle got there and tried to prove that he had given us the money - 2 thousand rupee notes, but neither the manager nor the other officials believed us. they wanted us to check if we had left it in the room, but we were 200% sure abt our money. their blaming us squarely was ridiculous. we did not expect such a bad treatment to us by an organisation of repute.

SO BEWARE ALL OF YOU ABOUT YOUR PURSE AT ORANGE COUNTY!
